Abdelkader joined the Nijagal lab in hopes of further expanding his understanding of the science underlying fetal development. He is extremely passionate about understanding the onset of developmental conditions in utero and aspires to become a physician serving populations with developmental disabilities. Abdelkader graduated in 2020 from UCLA, completing a B.S. in Neuroscience. Originally from Ramallah, Palestine, he moved to Riverside, California, where his family currently resides, in pursuit of his education and plans to apply to medical school in the near future.
